A family of Microsoft relational database management systems designed for ease of use.
Dear @Myra B Wilson,
Thank you for your question.
Before trying to download Access, the first thing to determine is which Microsoft 365 subscription or Office license you currently have, because Microsoft Access is not included with every Office product or Microsoft 365 plan. Microsoft states that Access is included with subscriptions such as Microsoft 365 Personal, Microsoft 365 Family, Microsoft 365 Business Standard, Microsoft 365 Business Premium, and Microsoft 365 Apps for business.
For reference: Access included as part of Microsoft 365 and Office 365 subscriptions | Microsoft Support
Could you let me know:
- Whether you're using a personal Microsoft account or a work/school account?
- Which Microsoft 365 subscription or Office edition you currently have installed?
One reason I ask is that the experience differs depending on the account type. For example:
- Personal Microsoft accounts typically use account.microsoft.com.
- Work or school accounts are often managed through your organization and may not display the same download and subscription options.
If your current license includes Access, it should be available as part of your Microsoft 365 installation on Windows. If Access is not included in your current subscription, you may need either a subscription that includes Access or a standalone Access license.
If you can tell us which subscription or Office product you have, I'll be happy to help determine the correct way to obtain Access.
Looking forward to hearing back from you with any updates or additional details.
Warm regards,
