A program that grants points for using Bing search, which users can redeem for gift cards, sweepstakes entries, or charitable donations.
This usually happens for one of these supported reasons:
- The daily set was not completed on time. If a required task is missed before the reset window, the streak goes back to zero.
- A different time zone or VPN was involved. Microsoft states streaks are based on the device’s time zone, and using a VPN or a device with a different time zone can cause the system not to recognize the streak correctly.
- The account context changed. If the wrong Microsoft account is signed in, progress may not be counted.
- Search activity may be limited. Rewards can temporarily limit earning when search patterns look abnormal, such as rapid back-to-back searches, spam-like queries, or automated behavior. When that happens, searches in a period may not qualify for points.
Since this happens on multiple PCs with the same account, the most relevant checks are:
- Make sure the same Microsoft account is signed in each time.
- Complete the task before the daily reset and confirm it shows as completed.
- Avoid using a VPN.
- Make sure both PCs use the correct local time zone.
- Spread out searches instead of doing them rapidly right before reaching the bonus.
- Do not use repeated low-value queries, automation, macros, or anything that looks like bulk point farming.
If the streak or 100-point bonus still resets after that, the next step is to contact Microsoft Rewards Support, because account-specific streak corrections are handled there.
