A family of Microsoft products that enable users to capture, organize, and reuse notes electronically.
Hello LOUIS JUNGHYO YOO,
Thank you for reaching out. I understand how frustrating it is to lose your recent work in OneNote for the web.
To better understand what happened, could you please confirm whether you noticed the Sync Status indicator in the upper-right corner of OneNote for the web while editing? Specifically, did it display "Page Saved" or remain in the "Syncing" state before you closed your laptop?
In the meantime, please try the following steps to check whether your missing notes can be recovered.
1.Reopen your notebook
Sign in to Microsoft OneNote for the Web using the same work or school account and check whether your content reappears. Open the affected notebook and check whether your missing content reappears.
2.Try another browser
Open the notebook in another browser. Alternatively, press Ctrl + Shift + N in Microsoft Edge to open an InPrivate window, sign in, and check whether your missing notes appear.
3.Search for your missing notes
Follow the instructions in this official Microsoft Support article to search for specific words or phrases from your notes: Search notes and navigate results in OneNote for the web | Microsoft Support
Please note that recovery may not be possible if the changes were never successfully saved or uploaded to OneDrive. However, the steps above may help determine whether the content is still available.
I look forward to your response.
