Every time I try to Launch Battlefield 6 it will close without any error windows within a minute of loading into the main menu and when I open Event Viewer and open System there will only be one error as follows, "The EAAntiCheatService service terminated with the following error: %%4294931798". The source is "Service Control Manager", Event ID is 7023, Task Category is "none".

Anybody have this issue before? Or at least know what causes something like this?

Thanks.

Hi,

Yes, this means the EA anti-cheat service isn't running, preventing the game from starting. If possible, uninstall the game and reinstall it along with the EA app; if you installed the game via Steam or Epic, fully uninstall the game and the EA app, then restart your PC.

Open the Command Prompt (as administrator) and run the following commands: sfc /scannow and dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth. Wait for the process to finish and restart your computer.

Reinstalling via the store where you purchased the game will automatically reinstall the EA app and the anti-cheat service.

If that doesn't work, search for msinfo32.exe in the search bar, take a screenshot, and post it here so we can see the correct laptop model or desktop configuration.

Thanks.
