    Hi Sylvia Lin,

Tax-exemption procedures can vary depending on the country/region and the type of account used for the purchase. Could you confirm whether the order was placed using a personal Microsoft account or a work/business account, and whether tax has already been charged?

If this was a personal Microsoft Store order, please contact Microsoft Support and ask for assistance with a tax-exemption adjustment or refund for a Microsoft Store order. Have the order number and valid tax-exemption certificate ready, but please do not post those details publicly here.

If this was a business purchase, an administrator may need to submit a billing service request and provide the organization’s tax-exemption documentation.

For reference, you can also review Tax invoices, breakdowns, and registration numbers for Microsoft Store. Thank you so much for your understanding.
