After installation of updates KB5127690 and KB5127648 my Win 11 Pro edition became inactive. I upgraded from Win 10 to Win 11 in Oct 2025 and all has been fine for the past year. No suddenly windows says I need to Activate. How do I fix this ? Will uninstalling these update fix the problem ? Here is output from slmgr /dlv

Your licence is indicated as an OEM_COA_NSLP licence, that type of licence is a system builder OEM licence usually installed by a PC builder, not a PC manufacturer, and it is widely reported that a Windows Update or BIOS update may cause that type of licence to deactivate.

Download the free ShowKeyPlus app from the Microsoft Store.

On that app, do you find two product keys, an Installed product key and another product key?

If so, the Installed Key is just a generic key, note down the other product key, then open the activation settings window and try inserting that product key to activate Windows.

    2

If that does not work, open Command Prompt by right clicking its icon and select 'Run as Administrator'.

In Command Prompt, run this command and press Enter:

    slmgr /rilc

In Command Prompt, run this command and press Enter:

    slmgr /ato

Then, close Command Prompt and restart (not shut down) your PC and check if Windows is activated.

Thank you so much. I was able to Activate Windows using the Original Key shown in ShowKeyPlus. Thanks again !
