When a user creates a template for a meeting recap, it does not save after they close Teams client. It does work on the web version. I heard it may be caused by an update bug, but I want to be sure.

Since the meeting recap template works in Teams on the web but disappears from the desktop client after closing it, this could be a desktop app issue or a problem with its local cache. I wouldn’t assume it’s an update bug without checking a few things first.

Try updating Teams to the latest version, then sign out and back in. If the issue continues, clear the Teams cache or reset the app, depending on which Teams version you’re using. Also, check whether the problem affects other users or just one account.

Could you confirm whether you’re using the new Teams desktop app and whether the template disappears immediately after restarting Teams or only after signing out? That would help narrow it down.
