Cannot switch directory

My previous company added my private account to their directory. After leaving the company, they won't remove me from their directory and I cannot do it by myself. What to do?

    If the account is listed as a guest user in your former company's Microsoft Entra ID tenant, only the organization's administrators can remove it. You cannot remove yourself if the tenant restricts guest self-service management.

    Recommendations:

    • Contact the former company's Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) administrator and request removal of your guest account.
    • If you still have access, check My Account > Organizations (https://myaccount.microsoft.com/organizations) and see if a Leave organization option is available.
    • If the option is unavailable or blocked, only the tenant administrator can complete the removal.
