    Hi @Cassie Newby ,

Please first check whether your graphics hardware and driver expose the required DirectX feature level:

    1. Press Win + R, type dxdiag and press Enter.
    2. Open the Display tab.
    3. Check Feature Levels and note whether 12_0 or 12_1 is listed.
    4. Also note the graphics card name shown there.
    5. Update the graphics driver directly from your GPU manufacturer (Intel, NVIDIA, or AMD), then restart the PC and test again.

If the error remains, please share the game/app name, GPU model, and Feature Levels shown in dxdiag. That will help narrow down whether this is a driver issue or a hardware/game requirement.

I hope this helps get you pointed in the right direction.

Suddenly, my game froze and my QQ app displayed a file corruption message

But when I opened the Device Manager, I found that my laptop's graphics card was not displayed in it. I tried several methods (including reinstalling the graphics card driver). But none of them worked. However, after resetting the BIOS settings, everything returned to normal (of course, many files were still damaged)..

    Hi!

I need more details to be able to help. Please provide the information below and answer the following questions:

    • Press WINDOWS + R > Type "winver" (without quotes) > Take a screenshot of the window and send it to me.
    • Press WINDOWS + R > Type "msinfo32" > Send me a screenshot of the "System Summary" section.
    1. Does this message appear after attempting to install DirectX 12 manually, or does it appear when you open a game?
    2. Which game or app are you experiencing this issue with?
    3. If you attempted a manual installation, which installer did you use?
    4. Where are you downloading the game from when this error occurs (Steam, Microsoft Store, Microsoft Xbox, etc.)?
