Using Classic Outlook on Windows for personal email, calendar, and contact management
Hi!
When your Google password is changed, Google revokes the OAuth tokens that have access to Gmail. Classic Outlook stores this outdated token in the Windows Credential Manager. Try reconnecting your account as follows:
- Press Windows + R > type
control> Under "View by," select Large icons > Click on Mail (Microsoft Outlook). - Click Show Profiles > Remove your current profile > Close the Mail windows.
- Press Windows + R > Type
control keymgr.dll> Press Enter. - In the Credential Manager, look for any credentials that contain your email address (or the terms "Gmail" or "Google") under the Web Credentials and Windows Credentials sections > Select and delete those credentials > Restart your computer.
- Open the Mail settings again > Click Show Profiles > Select Add > Enter a name > Close the window.
- Open Classic Outlook > Sign in using the Google (OAuth) login option.
