cannot sign into solitaire and casual games need help I am lost and don't know how to fix

I have the same problem since 12/10/26. I have tried every solution I could find on the internet including yours and failed to succeed. I can log into Xbox but the games fail with error 0x87DD0005 Duplicated as a comment. Unable to delete this.

Have any of you tried resetting the components of XBOX itself?

A recent windows security update was responsible for breaking it have you tried opening without internet and it works? Or try to switch accounts or you can check the web version.

Well, magically the problem disappeared yesterday so it was obviously not my end.

Typically, Microsoft did not send it's game users any indication of a fault which wasted 3 days of my time trying to solve it!

It's possibly because of the update that fixed it. It wasn't your fault it was backend windows.

my screen shot is the same as your picture and also I cannot find where to update microsoft store

Hi @Ken Johnson ,

First, open Microsoft Store and check for app updates, including Microsoft Solitaire Collection. Be sure to update all the pending request in Microsoft Store.

Then, check Windows Update for any pending updates, then restart your PC and try signing in again.

If it still fails, do you see an error message, or does nothing happen? Please send a screenshot, hiding your email address

I am experiencing the same problem and nothing seems to fix it. I have checked for update, checked my microsoft account and unintalled and reinstalled solitaire. And I have restarted many times.

Thanks for confirming that you can sign in to the Xbox app. Which games show the error—is it all of them or only certain ones?

If possible, connect your PC to a phone hotspot briefly and try opening one affected game. Let me know whether you still get 0x87DD0005; this will help check whether your usual network is involved.
