To cancel a personal Microsoft 365 subscription and keep the email account:

    1. Go to https://account.microsoft.com/services/microsoft365 and sign in with the same Microsoft account that purchased the subscription.
    2. Select Cancel subscription. It might appear as Upgrade or Cancel.
    3. Review the Please review section.
    4. At the bottom, select I don't want my subscription and follow the on-screen steps to confirm.

If Cancel subscription is not shown and Turn on recurring billing appears instead, the subscription is already set to expire on the date shown. No further action is required, and the subscription can still be used until it expires.

If the subscription was purchased through Google Play, the Apple App Store, or a third-party retailer, cancellation must be handled with that seller.

    About keeping the MSN email:

    • Canceling Microsoft 365 changes storage back to the free allowance: 5 GB of cloud storage and 15 GB of Outlook.com storage.
    • The email account is not stated as being removed, but if storage usage is over the free allowance after cancellation:
      • new OneDrive uploads, edits, and sync stop
      • Outlook.com email sending and receiving stop
      • after 6 months, OneDrive and its files may be deleted

Before canceling, reduce OneDrive and Outlook.com storage usage if it is above the free limits.
