Hi, as the title explains, i cannot access my guest session for my chats. Andriod phone.

Im not against signing up, but as it was on my personal device, i foolish thought it was device linked and therfore be safe. Now i cannot access any of it due to the forced redirect.

I should have signed up and saved everything but i just didnt realise.

I have tried accessing chats via history links, and they do load the page but before the session is restored, im forced to the download app page.

Is there anyway to recover my sessions?

    Morning.

    Thank you for your response.

I used chrome on my phone, I am signed into chrome but never entered any sign in details to access copilot.

I have signed up with my 2 emails now and none of the history from the guest chats appear.

    Hope that made sense.

    Welcome Gary,

I understand why you’d want to recover those conversations, especially since you were able to access them previously without signing in.

Microsoft’s documentation confirms that when you are signed in, Copilot associates conversation history with your account and lets you access previous conversations. However, I couldn’t find an officially documented recovery method for conversations created through an unsigned-in guest session. Conversation history in Microsoft Copilot.

Since you still have the old history links, I would avoid clearing Edge browsing data or uninstalling/resetting the browser for now.

Could you confirm one thing: when you originally created those guest chats, were you completely signed out of Microsoft Copilot, or were you signed in with a personal Microsoft account in Edge?

    Looking forward to your update.
