DP-800 Certification Missing / Dual Account Issue

Hi Support Team, I passed my DP-800 exam on 11 October, but my Microsoft Learn profile's Certification tab is completely blank. I am logged in with the exact same email used for scheduling via Pearson VUE. I contacted Pearson VUE customer support yesterday, and they suggested that a duplicate/dual account might have been created in the backend. Could you please check my backend profile, merge any duplicate MCIDs, and link my certificate to this account?

Submit a Microsoft Credentials Support request from the Learn profile you want to keep, because Credentials Support—not Pearson VUE or Microsoft Q&A—handles missing certification records and backend profile investigations.

    Submit the support request

    1. Open the official Credentials support page and select online support request.^1^
    2. Sign in with the Microsoft Learn profile where the DP-800 certification should appear.
    3. Select:
      • Product family: Learning
      • Product or Service: Microsoft Credentials
      • Category: The closest option for a missing exam/certification or profile issue
      • Type of Support: Professional No Charge
      • Contact method: Email
    4. Include:
      • Your Learn Username, found under Learn → Profile picture → Settings → Personal Info, username and URL
      • Exam name: DP-800
      • Exam date: 11 October
      • Pearson VUE registration or candidate details
      • A copy or screenshot of the passing score report
      • A screenshot showing the empty Credentials → Certifications tab
      • Pearson VUE’s case number and its suggestion that another profile may exist
      • All personal/work login accounts that could have been used, without posting them publicly
      • Which Learn profile you want to retain

Ask support to locate the exam record, determine whether it belongs to another Learn profile, and merge or associate the credential with the retained profile where supported. Credentials Support is the published escalation channel for missing exams and certifications.^2^

Do not post candidate IDs, registration IDs, email addresses, or score reports in this public Q&A thread.

Why the matching email does not rule out another profile

The email receiving certification correspondence can be the Learn profile’s Contact Email, which is not necessarily the login account associated with the exam record. Microsoft therefore recommends trying any other personal or work/school login account that may have been used during registration.^2^

If another login opens a second Learn profile containing DP-800, a self-service merge is available only when no more than one of the two profiles contains a personal Microsoft login account:

    1. Sign in to the Learn profile you want to keep.
    2. Open Profile → Settings → Account Management.
    3. Select Add login account.
    4. Add the login associated with the other Learn profile.
    5. If eligible, this triggers a merge and combines credentials, transcripts, and learning progress.

A profile merge cannot be undone. It is cancelled if the resulting profile would exceed five work/school login accounts.^3^

Do not delete either profile while the case is being investigated; deleting a Learn profile removes its associated credentials and other Learn data.
