Yep - Microsoft courses and resources include

As far as Microsoft partner courses - there is plenty of these. For example, Pluralsight offers an official curated learning path called .NET MAUI featuring multiple deep-dive courses on building production-ready mobile and desktop apps. Microsoft partners like Xablu offer specialized programs such as the .NET MAUI Certified Mobile Developer Training to prepare developers for official ecosystem certification.

    Hi @Tiago Álvares ,

Yes. Microsoft provides official .NET MAUI learning resources that cover the journey from the prerequisites and development environment setup through building your first application and learning more advanced application patterns.

If you are starting from scratch, I would suggest following the resources in roughly the following order.

Getting started and setting up the environment

Before starting with .NET MAUI, it helps to be familiar with C# and .NET, which Microsoft lists as prerequisites for its .NET MAUI learning path.

A good starting point is Microsoft's Build your first .NET MAUI app tutorial.

It covers the prerequisites and walks through creating and running your first .NET MAUI application. Microsoft also describes this tutorial as a way to ensure that your development environment is correctly set up. The Visual Studio instructions use Visual Studio 2026 with the .NET MAUI workload installed, and the tutorial also provides Visual Studio Code guidance.

    Learning the .NET MAUI fundamentals

Once the environment is ready, I would continue with the official Microsoft Learn path:

Build mobile and desktop apps with .NET MAUI

This is currently a beginner-level learning path with 8 modules (about 6 hours 39 minutes). It starts with creating a cross-platform application and progresses through core .NET MAUI concepts.

The learning path covers areas such as:

    • .NET MAUI application architecture and project creation
    • Building UI with XAML
    • Layouts such as StackLayout and Grid
    • Data binding and converters
    • The MVVM pattern and viewmodels
    • Local data storage
    • Invoking REST-based web services

This provides a useful progression from creating a simple application to understanding how a more structured .NET MAUI application is built.

Moving from fundamentals to practical application development

After becoming comfortable with the fundamentals, Microsoft's .NET MAUI Workshop is a useful hands-on resource.

Rather than focusing on individual concepts in isolation, the workshop walks through an application that retrieves JSON-encoded data from a REST endpoint, uses location and maps, explores different approaches to displaying data, and applies theming.

Microsoft also provides the .NET MAUI for Beginners video series if you prefer video-based learning, as well as official .NET MAUI samples that you can explore alongside the documentation.

These resources are collected on Microsoft's:

    Resources for learning .NET MAUI

    Advanced and enterprise application patterns

Once you are comfortable building .NET MAUI applications, Microsoft also provides Enterprise Application Patterns Using .NET MAUI.

This guidance focuses on challenges encountered when building enterprise applications and covers topics such as:

    • MVVM
    • Dependency injection
    • Navigation
    • Configuration
    • Loose coupling of components
    • Additional enterprise application concerns

So, if you want a structured learning route, I would approach it as:

C#/.NET fundamentals → Environment setup → First .NET MAUI app → XAML and layouts → Data binding and MVVM → Data and REST services → Hands-on workshop and samples → Enterprise application patterns

For Microsoft Partner or other instructor-led courses, I would verify the specific provider and course before treating it as official Microsoft training. If your goal is specifically to follow an official Microsoft learning route, the Microsoft Learn path and Microsoft's .NET MAUI learning resources page above are good starting points.

If you found my response helpful or informative, I would greatly appreciate it if you could follow this guide for your confirmation.

    Thank you.
