Hi,

I am creating a agent by github copilot studio, I need it to make meeting minutes after I upload the teams meeting transcript, and I need it to save the original teams meeting transcript to sharepoint. Now I design a skilll to make the MOM and WF to save the file. But I encoutered a problem that WF cannot get the file content after I upload the file to agent, but there was no this issue when I use the previous version copilot studio. And when I test the WF, there is no problem.

I attached a screenshot of problem description. I have communicated with copilot for a day, it cannot solve it.

Need your help to solve thie problem and it will be appreciated to receive your reply soonest.

Tony

Microsoft supports uploading chat attachments for agents to read and summarize. However, it doesn't currently document a supported mechanism for passing the uploaded file's binary content and filename directly into a workflow tool.

For your meeting-minutes workflow, the most reliable workaround is to save the original transcript to SharePoint first, rather than uploading it through agent chat. Then use a SharePoint Get file content action to retrieve the transcript and pass it to an agent node for meeting-minutes generation. Microsoft documents this exact SharePoint-to-agent workflow pattern. As one verification check, upload a sample transcript to SharePoint and run this workflow to confirm that the agent generates minutes while the original file remains available.
