A Microsoft offering that enables tracking of cloud usage and expenditures for Azure and other cloud providers.
Eleven business days with no email at all usually means the verification is stalled rather than actively being reviewed, and unfortunately nobody answering here can approve it directly. Here is what actually moves these cases:
- Check for a missed verification email first. Confirm the email address on the signup is correct and can receive external mail, then search your inbox, junk folder, and any company mail quarantine for messages from the Azure accounts team. A surprising number of these stalls turn out to be a request for more information that never reached the requester.
- Re-check the documents you submitted. The most common cause of a silent stall is a document that could not be validated: a blurry or cropped photo of the business license, an expired document, or the company name on the license not matching exactly what was entered at signup. If the tracking page lets you re-upload, submit a clear, complete scan and make sure every name matches exactly.
- Use a support channel that works without a subscription. Billing and subscription support is free even with no paid plan, and the virtual support agent on the Azure support site can route account verification cases. The phone line you called only handles existing subscriptions, so ask specifically for signup verification assistance, and make sure you are contacting support for the right cloud: global Azure and Azure China run separate signup and review processes.
- Keep your SessionID visible here and ask for an escalation. This forum is community-run, so moderators have limited pull on account reviews, but having the SessionID in the thread lets them flag it to the accounts team if that path is available.
Once a reviewer actually picks the case up and the documents are in order, these are normally cleared within a few business days, so the re-upload plus an escalation request is your fastest path.
