Sign in to Microsoft’s Services & subscriptions page with the same personal Microsoft account that received the renewal confirmation, then install Microsoft 365 from the Install button shown beside the active Personal subscription.

Install and activate the paid subscription

1. Open the Microsoft account Services & subscriptions page.
2. Sign in with the Microsoft account used for the AUD 159 purchase.
3. Confirm Microsoft 365 Personal appears and shows the 2027 renewal/expiry date.
4. Select Install and run the downloaded installer.
5. Open Word, select Sign in, and use that same Microsoft account. Microsoft 365 Personal uses the purchasing Microsoft account for installation and activation rather than another payment or product key.^1^

If Word is already installed and displays a payment or subscription warning:

1. In Word, go to File → Account → Sign out.
2. Close every Microsoft 365 application.
3. Restart the computer.
4. Reopen Word and sign in with the account showing the active Personal subscription. Do not pay another AUD 159 while the subscription page shows the existing subscription as active.

If the subscription is active but installation still fails

• Open Microsoft customer support.
• Under Personal account, choose Get help.
• Enter: “Microsoft 365 Personal renewal paid, subscription active through 2027, but installation asks me to pay again.”
• Select Contact Support and choose chat or the available callback option.
• Have the order confirmation and PayPal transaction ready, but do not post them publicly.

If Services & subscriptions does not show Microsoft 365 Personal, try any other personal Microsoft account you may have used for the purchase. If none shows it, contact billing support rather than reinstalling—the payment must be associated with the correct account before that account can activate Microsoft 365.

Immediate access to your work

For privacy, edit the public question to remove the phone number, name, order number, and payment details. Microsoft Support will request any necessary information through its private support process.
