Using Classic Outlook on Windows for personal email, calendar, and contact management
Hi Neal McKinney,
I understand how concerning it can be when emails, contacts, and calendar entries seem to disappear or return unexpectedly.
In classic Outlook, first open the affected area, such as Mail, Calendar, or People. The View tab should appear on the ribbon across the top of the Outlook window, usually near the Folder tab.
If the ribbon is collapsed and you cannot see the available commands, press Ctrl + F1 to expand it. Then select View > View Settings > Filter and review whether any filters are currently applied, as these may prevent certain items from appearing.
Since you reported several separate issues, please let me know which one you would like to address first: missing emails, missing contacts, the calendar showing only older entries, or deleted messages returning. This will help me to suggest the most relevant next steps without making unnecessary changes. Thank you so much for your understanding.
