My Adobe Acrobat won't launch for any pdf documents

I can't open any pdf docs with my Adobe Acrobat. I tried running a scan to check for issues but still can't open any documents from File Explorer

    Welcome to the Microsoft Windows Community.

    Good afternoon, @Lisa Masciola . Uninstall Acrobat, restart your computer, and reinstall the application. After reinstalling, type "default apps" (or click on it) and set Acrobat as the default for PDFs.
