A Microsoft file hosting and synchronization service.
Good day Stephen,
I understand that you want to copy your Office 365 files to your PC, but you can no longer access the account that was used to store them. If the files were stored in OneDrive for Business, access depends on the status of the account and the organization's retention settings.
Please note Microsoft Support cannot grant access to organizational data or bypass an organization's administrators. If you don't have administrative access, please contact your organization's IT administrator as soon as possible because data retention periods are limited. In case you do not know who is your IT admin, kindly refer to this article: How do I find my Microsoft 365 admin? - Microsoft Support
Option 1: Contact your organization's administrator to restore the account
If the account was deleted within the last 30 days, the administrator can usually restore it from the Microsoft 365 admin center.
The administrator can:
Sign in to the Microsoft 365 admin center.
Go to Users > Deleted users.
Select the deleted account.
Choose Restore user and complete the restoration.
Confirm that access to OneDrive has been restored.
If the account wasn't deleted but is currently inactive or blocked, please ask the administrator to reactivate the account.
After access is restored:
Please sign in to your work account at OneDrive on the web from your PC.
Select the files and folders you want to keep. When multiple files or folders are selected, OneDrive normally downloads them as a ZIP file.
Select Download.
Save the files to your PC.
Option 2: Request file retrieval from the administrator
If restoring the account isn't possible, the administrator can check whether the OneDrive data is still available and retrieve the files on your behalf.
The administrator can:
Access the former OneDrive site.
Download the required files.
Copy the files to another active account or SharePoint library.
Share the recovered files with you through an approved method.
You can share the following articles with them for reference:

Option 3: Request a OneDrive restore
If the account no longer appears under Deleted users, a SharePoint administrator can check whether the deleted OneDrive is still within the retention period and restore it before recovering the files.
