Loaded Office 2021 with Outlook Classic, unable to configure my ATT (Yahoo) account, was able to configure my Gmail though

Using multiple server settings for imap & smpt the connection fails with app password and ATT provided key for outlook. The failure messaging is usually timeout waiting for server response.

Hi!

Try logging in with your Yahoo account this way:

Press Windows + R > type control > Under View By, select Large Icons > Click on Mail (Microsoft Outlook).
Click on Add Account (Or Show Profiles > Add Profile if there is no profile).
Select Manual setup or additional server types > IMAP > Fill in the details according to the information below:

Incoming Server (IMAP): imap.mail.att.net, port 993, SSL

Outgoing Server (SMTP): smtp.mail.att.net, port 465, SSL, with authentication on sending

Click on More Settings > Fill in more information in Outgoing Server and Advanced.

Click OK > Next.
Check if the problem persists.
