Getting a flood of Error 2's with the above details.

I've got a Realtek PCIe 2.5GbE NIC with the most recent driver. Checking through things in services, event logs, device manager, nothing is sticking out as wrong but this error keeps filling up the event log and now internet browsing and gaming is slow/laggy.

I've tried the network reset commands:

netsh winsock reset

netsh int ip reset

ipconfig /flushdns

ipconfig /release

ipconfig /renew

Thanks for the update! Yes, Network reset in Settings goes further: it removes and reinstalls network adapters and restores their settings to defaults. The commands you ran reset Winsock, TCP/IP, DNS and the IP lease, but don’t reinstall the adapters.

That explains why the results can differ. Since the issue is resolved, no further troubleshooting is needed.

Network reset within settings solved the issue. CMD commands did not. I'm not sure if I missed a command from above or network reset does more than the commands above but issue is now resolved

Hi, this error points to a duplicate logging session, but it doesn’t necessarily explain the lag.

Since the network resets didn’t help, try a clean boot to check for background software conflicts. Follow this guide, then check whether browsing improves and new errors stop appearing:

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/experience/startup-boot/how-to-perform-a-clean-boot-in-windows

If it still happens, what’s your exact Realtek driver version, and did the lag start after an update?
