    Hello @Anna De Preter ,

    Good day to you.

I understand that you are being signed out of outlook immediately after signing in and completing verification process. You have also tried closing your browser windows as instructed, but the issue continues.

This might happen when browser is having trouble maintaining your sign-in session. Please try the following steps in order:

Step 1: Try signing in using a private browser window

If you're using Microsoft edge / Chrome:

    1/ Open Microsoft edge

2/ Press Ctrl + Shift + N to Open a in private browser

3 / Go to Outlook on the web.

4/ Sign in with your account and complete verification.

5/ check whether outlook stays signed in.

IF it works in in private browser but not regular browser window, try clearing browser data.

Step 2: Clear your browser's cookies and cached files

    1/ For Microsoft Edge:

    • Open Edge and paste this link "edge://settings/privacy/clearBrowsingData"
    • Click Select "choose what to clear"

    User's image

    • Set time range to all time and select cookies and other site data and cached images and files and click clear Now

    User's image

    • Close and reopen Edge, then try signing in to outlook again

    2/ For Google Chrome:

    • Open chrome and Press "Ctrl + Shift + Del"
    • Set the time range to all time, select cookies and other site data and cached images and files then click delete data

    User's image

    • Restart chrome and try signing in again.

3/ If the Issue continues, open another browser Such as Firefox and go to Outlook on the web and sign in again

    • If Outlook works in another browser, the issue may be related to the settings or extensions in your original browser.

    Step 3: Check browser extensions

1/ If you're using Microsoft Edge:

    • Open Edge and type edge://extensions in the address bar.
    • Temporarily turn off your extensions, particularly ad blockers or privacy-related extensions.
    • Try signing in to Outlook again.

2/ If you're using Google Chrome:

    • Open Chrome and type Chrome://extensions in the address bar.
    • Temporarily disable your extensions.
    • Try signing in to Outlook again.

If the issue persists, could you please confirm the following?

1/ I see the question is about education, but I still want to confirm your account type. Are you using a personal outlook.com/Hotmail account or a work/school account?

2/ Which browser are you currently using?

3/ Does the same issue occur when you try signing in from a different device?

4/ You're only having issues logging in via the web, right? You can still log in to the desktop app normally?

5/ Apart from Outlook, do you experience similar issues with other applications, such as Excel, Word, or OneDrive?

6/ Could you please share a screenshot of this issue with me?

Please share the results of these steps so I can investigate further.

    Best regards
