Unable to activate Azure for Students via verified GitHub Student Developer Pack (Error: Not Eligible)

Dear Azure Support Team,

I am an active student with a verified GitHub Student Developer Pack. When attempting to redeem the Azure for Students offer, I consistently encounter the error message: "You're not eligible for an Azure free account".

I have confirmed:

  1. My GitHub Student Developer Pack is fully approved and active.
  2. I have not previously activated an Azure for Students subscription before.
  3. My Microsoft Account profile shows I am over 18 years old.

Error session details from the sign-up page:

  • Timestamp (UTC): 10/12/2026 2:55:48 AM

When I try to contact support, it automatically redirects me to Engage Center which is permanently stuck in a loading loop.

Could an Azure engineer please initiate a Private Message so I can securely provide my account email and student proof to help review and manually provision the subscription?

    Verify that the Microsoft account meets all Azure for Students eligibility requirements and is not associated with an existing or previously redeemed Azure for Students subscription. Check for account verification or region-related restrictions. If eligibility appears valid, escalate to Azure Subscription/Billing Support for manual review, providing the Session ID and student verification details.
