my Bitlocker recovery key from my account does not work

my Bitlocker recovery key from my account does not work,
My Recover Key ID is correct, it matched my Microsoft account, but when I enter the recovery key it does nothing, but go back to the same "enter the recovery key to get going again" screen
Is there a way perhaps to generate a new Bitlocker recovery key ?
