Artifact Signing awaiting email verification: link returns "The client does not have access rights to the content"

I'm setting up Azure Artifact Signing Public Trust organization validation.

The current Azure status is "In Progress", with the explicit message "Please complete your email verification". I received the automated "Verify email address" email, but clicking its button returns only:

"The client does not have access rights to the content."

Could a moderator or the Artifact Signing identity validation team please help:

  1. Confirm whether the current request received the successful identity verification result.
  2. Investigate the email verification access error and provide a working recovery path or replacement email link.
  3. Advise how to provide the current validation request, subscription, and tenant identifiers privately.

I can provide screenshots of the pending-email banner, access error, and successful verification screen.

Resolved: Email verification succeeded in another browser, and identity validation is complete. No further assistance is needed.

Moderators: please delete this question if possible.

Hi Codebit Labs & thx for join me at Q&A platform,

glad u got it sorted! Looks like the verification link was being blocked by something browser-specific, possibly an existing session, cached credentials, or an extension. Hard to say exactly which one, but the fact that it worked in another browser is a useful clue.

Good to hear the identity validation is complete too. I'd leave the resolution here for anyone hitting the same error, as trying another browser might save them some time.

As for deleting the question, a Microsoft Q&A moderator can review that request, tho removal depends on the forum's moderation rules. Personally, I'd keep it marked as resolved bc the workaround could help others.

rgds,

Alex
