A family of Microsoft products that enable users to capture, organize, and reuse notes electronically.
No. In new Outlook, Send to OneNote lets the item be saved to a notebook and section from the OneNote task pane, but the available context does not show support for choosing a deeper subpage or “sub tab” target from new Outlook.
What new Outlook supports:
- Open the email.
- Select the Apps icon.
- Select OneNote.
- In the OneNote task pane, select the notebook and section.
- Select Save.
If the goal is to organize the email under a more specific nested location, the supported path is to send it to the target section first, then reorganize the created page inside OneNote afterward. The imported email becomes a OneNote page with the email subject as the page title, and that page can be moved around in the notebook.
If using classic Outlook instead, the flow is similar: Send to OneNote opens a task pane where the notebook and section are selected. The available context also does not show subpage selection there.
