    Hello,

The option to verify your Microsoft Rewards account using an email address was removed for security reasons. This is because it was easy for someone to create a free email address, and they misused this verification option, which led Microsoft to stop allowing accounts to be verified directly through email for all users.

Later, the verification was switched to the phone number method. However, since Microsoft is phasing out phone number verification, it is now using the Bing QR code verification method, which is more secure than the previous methods. You will need a smartphone with the Bing app installed to scan the QR code, verify your identity, and successfully redeem your rewards.

If you don't have a smartphone, see if you have this option:

Amazon reward codes can still be sent to the primary email address on the Microsoft account.

    To get the code:

    1. Sign in to your Microsoft Rewards account.
    2. Go to Redeem > Order history.
    3. Find the Amazon gift card order.
    4. If the order is Complete, select Order Details to view the redemption code or link.
    5. If the confirmation email was not received, select Resend to send another copy to the primary email address on the account.

If the order is still In progress, wait up to 24 hours for processing. If it still does not arrive after that, contact Microsoft Rewards Support.

For redemption, Microsoft Rewards may still require phone verification. A mobile or landline number is supported, but a VoIP number is not.
