Use Manage your payments → Investigate to identify the charge, and contact your card issuer immediately if you still do not recognize it.

    Investigate the charge

    1. Open Microsoft’s Manage your payments page directly and sign in.
    2. Select Investigate beside the unrecognized charge.
    3. Also review Payment & billing → Order history and Services & subscriptions for:
      • A Microsoft 365 or other recurring subscription
      • A purchase by a family member
      • An in-app purchase
      • A previously declined payment charged again
      • A pre-order or split order

These are documented reasons an unfamiliar Microsoft charge may appear. The statement text MICROSOFT*MICRO MSBILL.INFO /WA US by itself does not show which account or purchase generated it. ^1^

If you use multiple Microsoft accounts, repeat the check while signed into each account that might hold the card.

    If you find the transaction

    • If it is a subscription you do not want, cancel it from Services & subscriptions. Cancellation is required before Microsoft can determine subscription refund eligibility, but cancellation does not always result in a refund. [^2^](https://support.microsoft.com/accounts-billing/subscriptions/[Subscription ID] "How to get a refund on a Microsoft subscription | Microsoft Support")
    • If you did not make the purchase, contact Microsoft Support, enter unknown charge, select Get Help, and then Contact Support. Do not post your card number, transaction ID, or account details in this public forum.
    • If the purchase indicates that someone accessed your Microsoft account, run a full malware scan before changing the account password, then review the account settings. ^3^

If the transaction is not in any of your Microsoft accounts

Call the number on the back of your card and:

    1. Report the payment as unauthorized.
    2. Ask the issuer to open a dispute.
    3. Tell them the card details may be compromised and ask what must be done to prevent further charges.

Microsoft specifically advises contacting the payment provider when payment information may have been acquired; disputing only one charge may not prevent additional fraudulent transactions. ^1^

Do not share the full card number, security code, bank statement, or other personal information here.

Can you go to your account https://account.live.com Sign in and go to Services & Subscription, do you see anything that matches the charges? If not, click on Order history instead and anything?

Micosoft lists some other scenarios you can explore: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/account-billing/how-to-investigate-a-billing-charge-from-microsoft-398c5328-364c-d5e4-ea8f-f5ad60562a93

If you find the charges on YOUR account but you don't recognize making those purchase, for your privacy and security, billing matter cannot be discussed here, nor does anyone helping here have access to such data. You will need to contact support to get it handled. On your computer, launch the Get Help app from the start menu, then type in "Billing" as the keyword. On the next page, you can click on "Contact support" button. Then fill out a few more details and you will be directed to the page where you will have the option to chat with a live support agent.

If you cannot locate the charges on your Microsoft account at all, it's possible that your credit card has been compromised. This means unauthorized charges may have been made on someone else's Microsoft account using your credit card. In such a scenario, you should contact your credit card company to open a dispute case. Microsoft is unable to directly investigate issues related to someone else's account if you contact their Billing Support directly. However, once a dispute case is initiated by your credit card company, Microsoft can then respond specifically to those claims through the dispute process with the credit card company. This is the appropriate channel to resolve such issues, as it ensures proper verification and handling of the unauthorized charges.
