Hello. My name is Parnita Sai and I have registered for the exam AI-103 which is scheduled for October 10th 10:15am IST. I reached till the proctor and there my exam was cancelled due to an ID format misunderstanding, I was told to reschedule the exam. They said that I would need a tricolor aadhar card for acceptance, but I am from south india and for us these aadhar(white colored) card is available here. But then, how was my aadhar card accepted in the check-in phase? So, I would like to request for an exam reschedule and if the tricolor aadhar is mandatory, then i will be able to provide it in 2 days. I applied for this exam through a voucher which has expiration date till October 18th, but on OnVue screen its showing i can reschedule in 4 hrs. I tried the process the OnVue gave for rescheduling but its saying that exam can't be rescheduled as voucher is expired. So please open a official case and reschedule my exam. Contact Pearson VUE Support immediately for a manual review of the cancelled appointment and voucher, because self-service rescheduling has already failed and Microsoft Q&A moderators cannot open or modify exam cases.

    1. Open the Pearson VUE case

Use Pearson VUE Support and select the contact/chat option for Microsoft exams. Microsoft directs appointment, scheduling, and exam-delivery issues to the exam delivery partner.^1^

    Ask Pearson VUE to:

    • Review the proctor’s ID rejection and the check-in record.
    • Confirm the exact reason the Aadhaar document was rejected.
    • Manually reschedule the AI-103 appointment or restore/reissue the voucher.
    • Record that OnVUE offered a four-hour rescheduling window but the scheduling page rejected the voucher as expired.
    • Provide a case number in writing.

    Include:

    • Exam: AI-103
    • Original appointment date, time, and time zone
    • The Microsoft account used for registration
    • Appointment/order number
    • Voucher expiration date
    • Screenshots of both errors
    • The sequence of events, including that the ID passed the initial upload/check-in but was later rejected by the proctor

Do not post the voucher code, appointment number, government ID, MCID, or other account details publicly.

    2. Escalate the voucher issue to Microsoft Credentials Support

After obtaining the Pearson VUE case number, open a separate case through Microsoft Credentials Support. Include the Pearson case number and request help restoring the exam entitlement if Pearson cannot reschedule it. The official support directory assigns other Microsoft Certification issues to Credentials Support.^1^

A concise case description would be:

My AI-103 online exam was cancelled by the proctor during identity verification. OnVUE instructed me to reschedule within four hours, but the scheduling page reports that the voucher is expired and cannot be used. Self-service rescheduling therefore cannot be completed. Please review the Pearson VUE case, restore the exam entitlement or voucher if applicable, and allow the appointment to be rescheduled.

Submitting a case does not guarantee a voucher extension or replacement; the support teams must review the appointment status and the voucher’s specific terms.

ID requirement for the next appointment

Microsoft’s documented standard requires one original, valid, unexpired government-issued ID containing your name, photo, and signature. The first and last name used for registration must exactly match the ID.^2^

The documentation supplied here does not establish a general Microsoft requirement that an Aadhaar card must specifically be “tricolor.” Ask Pearson VUE to identify the precise applicable ID-policy requirement before rescheduling. If the Aadhaar version you plan to use does not contain every required element, obtain advance approval for an exception or use another accepted government ID. ID-policy exceptions must be pre-approved by Pearson VUE at least three business days before the appointment.^2^

    For an online retake:

    1. Check that the ID is current and government-issued.
    2. Ensure its name exactly matches the Microsoft Certification profile.
    3. Review Pearson VUE’s acceptable-ID list before booking.
    4. Capture a clear ID image during check-in; an unclear image can prevent admission.^3^

    Protect the exposed appointment information

One uploaded screenshot displays an OnVUE access code. Delete or replace that public attachment with a redacted copy. Send the unredacted evidence only through the private Pearson VUE or Microsoft support case.
