    Hi jimmy halstead,

Since the touch point remains accurate near the center but becomes progressively offset toward the edges, I would first check whether the board requires its own calibration software rather than relying only on the Windows touch calibration tool.

Could you please provide the smart board’s manufacturer and exact model, and confirm whether you are using the calibration utility supplied by the manufacturer or the built-in Windows calibration tool? Also, does the same offset occur when using both a finger and a pen, if the board supports both?

If the board has a dedicated driver or calibration application, install the latest Windows 10-compatible version directly from the manufacturer’s support page and run its calibration again. You may also check Windows Update, including optional driver updates.

Please note that this is a user-to-user support forum. Contributors do not have access to the device or its diagnostic information, so the manufacturer may need to examine the board if its own calibration utility cannot correct the increasing edge offset. Thank you so much for your understanding.

Try these Windows touch troubleshooting steps in order:

    1. Reset the touch calibration. Search Windows for Calibrate screen for pen or touch input and reset or recalibrate the touch settings there.
    2. Restart the touchscreen driver. Open Device Manager > expand Human Interface Devices > right-click HID-compliant touch screen > Disable. Wait a few seconds, then Enable it again. If more than one HID-compliant touch screen entry is listed, repeat for each one.
    3. Reinstall the touchscreen driver. In Device Manager > Human Interface Devices, right-click HID-compliant touch screen > Uninstall. Then restart Windows so the driver is reinstalled automatically.
    4. Check for interference. If touch accuracy gets worse away from the center, test the board in a different room or with nearby electronics turned off one by one. Electronic interference can affect touch behavior.
    5. Install updates. Check Windows and device updates, then test calibration again.

If recalibration and driver reinstall do not fix edge tracking, the issue is likely with the board’s touch hardware or its digitizer alignment rather than Windows calibration alone.
