I have an active Azure Pay-As-You-Go subscription where the Azure portal incorrectly shows:

  • Current billing period: Unauthorized

Currency: Not available

Offer ID: Not available

Status: Active

Subscription ID: [redacted]

My permissions are:

Subscription: Owner

Billing account: Owner

Billing profile: Owner

The billing profile is active and the subscription is correctly associated with:

Billing profile: Vishal Gangwar

Invoice section: Vishal Gangwar

Billing frequency: Monthly

Plan/SKU: Microsoft Azure Plan

The billing system itself is working. Cost Management and Billing shows upcoming invoices:

Billing period 9/1/2026–9/30/2026: ₹0.00

Billing period 10/1/2026–10/31/2026: ₹0.00

The payment method is also present, and there are currently no Azure resources on the subscription.

Cost Analysis forecast is unavailable because there is no cost training data, which is expected given the lack of usage.

The only unresolved issue is that the Subscription Overview continues to display "Current billing period: Unauthorized" and "Currency: Not available".

Is this a known Azure portal/billing metadata issue? Does the subscription need a backend billing metadata refresh or re-synchronization?
