Hello and good day. I understand that you have cancelled your other Microsoft 365 subscription and have subscribed to a new one.

Please take note that you will not be able to use it as a payment as it will need to be refunded if you have requested for it.

If you have already requested for it and Microsoft has processed it then you will need to wait for the bank to return back it to you as this will also depend on your billing cycle.

You can also check the Microsoft support link below with regards to refunds for a Microsoft 365 subscription.

A payment from one Microsoft account cannot be applied or transferred to a subscription on a different Microsoft account.

    What is supported:

    1. If the old subscription was purchased directly from Microsoft, sign in to the original purchasing account at the Microsoft account subscriptions page and check whether the cancellation flow shows a refund option.
    2. If the charge happened after cancellation, this can occur when cancellation was made too close to the billing date. Cancellations must be more than 2 days before the billing date.
    3. If the subscription is already set to expire and shows Turn on recurring billing instead of Manage, no further cancellation is needed and it should not renew again.
    4. If the subscription was bought through Apple, Google Play, or another third party, refund and billing changes must be handled with that provider.
    5. If a refund is available, eligibility is determined automatically during cancellation.

For the new subscription, it remains separate under the new Microsoft account. The practical path is:

    1. Sign in to the old Microsoft account at Services & subscriptions.
    2. Open the cancelled subscription and confirm its status, end date, and whether a refund option appears.
    3. If no refund option appears, use Contact Microsoft Support for billing help.
