An Azure service that serves as a system of registration and system of discovery for enterprise data assets.
Hi Abdullah,
As far as the current Microsoft Purview capabilities go, Azure Analysis Services doesnt have a native scanner in Purview.
Because of that, Purview won't automatically scan an AAS model and catalog items such as tables, columns, measures, DAX expressions, relationships, or hierarchies.
For Power BI / Fabric, the integration is different. Purview can scan supported Power BI artifacts and capture metadata and lineage for things such as semantic models, reports, dashboards, tables, and columns.
So, in a scenario like:
Data source → Azure Analysis Services → Power BI report
Purview can capture the Power BI side, but you shouldn't expect it to automatically catalog the internal AAS model or provide full lineage through the AAS objects.
If you need that level of metadata from AAS, you may need to extract it separately using TOM, TMSL, or DMVs and integrate it through a custom approach.
You can also find some useful information in the Microsoft documentation here:

Hope this helps clarify it.
