How Do I Stop SPAM Calendar Events Being Added to my Calendar? AND How do I Delete the existing Events?

The DELETE Option is not visible on the SPAM Calendar Events. Is there another altrernative?

Sorry for the trouble you're having. To stop spam and get rid of it. You need to turn off automatic invitation settings and delete any calendar subscriptions that you didn't sign up for from your service.

You can turn off the features that let these show up on their own: under Outlook, go to Settings > Calendar > Events from email and set each category to "Don't show event summaries on my calendar." Then, under the Outlook Web Mail settings under Tracking, uncheck the box that says "Automatically process meeting requests" so that spam invites don't get added anymore. If you have any spam events in your calendar, right-click on them and choose "Report as Junk" or "Report as Phishing." Don't click Accept or Decline so the sender doesn't know your email is active.

And if you can't find a way to delete an event on your calendar, In Outlook, you may also right-click on the event and choose "Report as Junk" or "Report as Phishing." Searching your email for the same subject line can also help since these events frequently come from spam messages in your Junk folder. Once you permanently delete the email from Trash, the calendar event often goes away on its own.

There is no solution. You can not stop the Spam Calendar Events.

I changed phones from an iPhone 13 Pro to a iPhone 16e - I no longer get the SPAM Calendar events. I do not know why.

There is nothing you can change in your Outlook client that will stop them.

If you are in an IT Managed environment there are Mail Flow Rules that your IT Admin can implement.

If your organization has a Microsoft Defender for Office 365 subscription, there are steps you can take to mitigate the impact.

To stop spam calendar events from being added to your calendar, you can adjust your calendar settings to prevent unwanted invitations. In Outlook, you can set your calendar to only accept invitations from people in your organization or to require approval for all invitations. This can help reduce the number of spam events.

To delete existing spam events from your calendar, you can manually remove them by selecting the events and choosing the delete option. If there are many spam events, you might consider using a script or a command in PowerShell, such as the Remove-CalendarEvents cmdlet, which allows you to cancel future meetings in user or resource mailboxes. This cmdlet can also help you remove multiple events at once if you specify the correct parameters.

For example, you can use the following command to remove events:

Remove-CalendarEvents -Identity "[email protected]" -CancelOrganizedMeetings -QueryWindowInDays 30

This command will cancel all meetings organized by you within the next 30 days.

Make sure you have the necessary permissions to run the cmdlet and that your mailbox is enabled to send mail, as meeting cancellations must be sent out to attendees.
