Hi, I desperately need help with a serious security breach.

šŸ” What Happened:

  • My Microsoft account was recently hacked.
  • I was logged out and, when trying to recover it, I discovered that the recovery email had been changed to unknown .ru addresses (including Rambler.ru and others).
  • Now, the recovery form says the account "does not exist", even though it was active just days ago.
  • I’ve seen emails like ex*****@rambler.ru, ******@paradoxigmail.ru, and others tied to the account during attempted logins.
  • I am completely locked out of the account and can’t get access to support.

šŸ”§ What I've Tried:

  • Filled out the ACSR recovery form multiple times.
  • Used the username recovery tool, which now only shows unfamiliar .ru addresses.
  • Scanned all my devices for malware.
  • Emailed Microsoft account protection (******@accountprotection.microsoft.com).
  • Tried all published Microsoft support channels, but I’m told only the community forums are available.

šŸ” Why I Believe the Account Still Exists:

  • I still see the hijacker's aliases when trying to sign in with known account info.
  • It appears the hacker either changed the username or linked it to other emails to block recovery.

šŸ“© What I Need:

I’m asking for a Microsoft moderator or escalation team to help me recover and secure my original account. I can verify my identity with prior passwords, account usage, and device info privately.

Thank you.Screenshot_6-12-2025_94852_mail.google.com

Hi, I'm John! I will help you with this.

Microsoft Q&A is public, and we can only provide information. It is beyond our capability to assist directly with the account or login-related issues.

Please know that if a Microsoft account is hacked and the email address is changed, the account is essentially lost and cannot be recovered. The Account Recovery Form will no longer work.

If you haven’t already, you can try using the Microsoft Self-help tool.

You can also use the form "Recover your Microsoft account" here:

Let me know if you have any further questions or concerns.

    Regards,

    John J.D.
