When writing in One Note on the Samsung tablet, the following event occurs when entering the ‘bracket up’: the next letter is still being written, but when the following letter is entered, the cursor jumps to the beginning of the line. Which setting causes this behaviour?

Microsoft 365 and Office | OneNote | For home | Android

    Hello,

Welcome to the Microsoft Community Forum. Please accept our warmest regards and sincerest hope that all is well despite the situation you find yourself in.

This issue may be caused by the Auto-Correct feature in OneNote. To resolve this, you can try disabling the Auto-Correct feature in OneNote on your Samsung tablet. Here's how you can do it:

    1. Open OneNote on your Samsung tablet.
    2. Tap on the three horizontal lines in the top left corner to open the menu.
    3. Tap on "Settings" or "Options" (depending on your version of OneNote).
    4. Look for the "Auto-Correct" or "Text Correction" option and toggle it off to disable it.

After disabling the Auto-Correct feature, try typing in OneNote again to see if the issue persists.

    Hope this helps.

    Best Regards,

    Fordy B.
