PowerPoint "View - Presenter View" shows "truncated" "<Slide x of y>" (only upper part of "Slide 1 of 10" for instance is shown). Can it be fixed or is it a bug? I am attaching a screen capture below, showing a truncated "Slide 1 of 82". Thanks.

System: PowerPoint 2021 version 16.70.0 (23021201) on macOS 12.6.3 (21G419) Monterey on iMac 27-inch Retina 5K display Intel x86.

Wow! I have found the source of the problem. It is NOT related to the number of slides in the presentation. It is related to the page setup. For instance:

"PowerPoint - File - Page Setup - Size - Slide sized for - On-screen Show (4:3)" truncates page x of y

But

"PowerPoint - File - Page Setup - Size - Slide sized for - A4 Paper (210x297 mm)" NOT truncates page x of y

I have not tested other options, but it would be great if Microsoft cold fix this annoying bug. Thanks!

Thanks! Wow, fixed in version 16.71.0 (23031200) just released minutes ago. Well done! That was quick!!!

:-)

Update: Not so fast! It is fixed in a presentation with 71 slides (great!), but not in other with 82 slides. So, it seems that the bug is dependent on the number of slides right now, arising when they are large like 82 in this example. Amazing!

It appears you have discovered a bug which I am able to reproduce here. Please use Help> Feedback to report it to the design team. Include a link to this thread. I've done the same.
