How I added as an external user in the tenant?

Only the LA28 Press Extranet administrator can add your account as an external guest and grant it access to the application; you cannot add yourself to the Games Technology tenant.

What to do

1. Contact LA28 Press Extranet support or the person who provided the registration link.
2. Ask them to:
   • Invite your Gmail address as a guest in the Games Technology Microsoft Entra tenant.
   • Assign that guest account access to PRP GPM PROD, if the application requires assignment.
   • Resend the invitation if a guest account already exists but its invitation is still pending.
3. Include the Request ID, Correlation ID, timestamp, and complete AADSTS90072 message from the error page. Send these privately rather than posting them publicly.

AADSTS90072 means the identity used for sign-in is not present as a guest in the resource tenant. Microsoft’s troubleshooting guidance identifies inviting the guest as the required action; if application assignment is required, the administrator must also assign the user or an appropriate group to the application.^1^

After LA28 sends the invitation

1. Open the invitation email from Microsoft Invitations on behalf of the LA28 organization.
2. Select Accept invitation.
3. Sign in using the same Gmail address and identity that LA28 invited. Do not choose another cached Microsoft account.
4. Review and accept the requested permissions and any terms of use.
5. Return to the LA28 registration link.

Accepting the invitation changes the guest’s invitation state from pending to accepted and completes the first-time consent process.^2^

If the browser automatically selects a different account, open the invitation in an InPrivate/incognito window and sign in with the invited address. A cached session for the wrong account is another documented cause of this type of tenant sign-in failure.^1^

Information for the LA28 administrator

An authorized administrator should:

1. Open Microsoft Entra admin center → Entra ID → Users.
2. Select Invite external user.
3. Enter the applicant’s exact email address and display name.
4. Enable Send invite message.
5. Select Review and invite → Invite.

This requires a directory role that permits guest invitations, such as Guest Inviter or User Administrator. The invitation creates the guest object and sends the redemption email.^3^

If the guest already exists, the administrator can open Entra ID → Users → [guest user] and inspect the invitation state. If it shows Pending acceptance, they can select Resend invitation.^4^

Creating your own Azure tenant or Microsoft Entra directory will not grant access to LA28’s tenant or application.
