Using Classic Outlook on Windows for personal email, calendar, and contact management
I’m sorry to hear how much difficulty you have experienced rebuilding your Outlook profile and restoring your email delivery.
The To-Do Bar in the Mail view and the Next 5 Days view in Tasks use separate view settings. Therefore, even if their settings appear similar, they may display and group tasks differently.
From the Mail view, please try the following:
- Go to View > To-Do Bar > Tasks.
- Right-click inside the task list and select View Settings.
- Select Filter and check whether any date-related filters are applied.
- Select Group By and confirm that tasks are grouped by Due Date.
- If the issue remains, select View > Reset View while the To-Do Bar is active.
You can also temporarily turn off the Tasks section through View > To-Do Bar > Tasks, restart Outlook, and then enable it again.
If the display is still incorrect, you may run outlook.exe`` ``/cleanviews from the Windows Run dialog. Please note that this command resets all customized Outlook views, so it should only be used as a final step.
Since the Tasks module displays correctly, the issue is more likely related to the Mail To-Do Bar view created under the new profile rather than your POP account or email data.
Please feel free to let me know if you have any further updates, thanks.
