Hello D Myr,
It sounds like something may be waking the laptop immediately after it enters hibernation.
After it returns to the sign-in screen, right-click Start, open Command Prompt (Admin) or Windows PowerShell (Admin), and run:
powercfg /lastwake
This may identify the device responsible. You can also run:
powercfg /waketimers
If a device is listed, open Device Manager, find that device, select Properties > Power Management, and clear Allow this device to wake the computer. Common causes include the Wi-Fi adapter, mouse, keyboard, Bluetooth, or a USB device. You can also temporarily disconnect USB accessories and test hibernation again.
Also, check the laptop manufacturer’s support page for the latest BIOS, chipset, and power-management drivers. Manufacturer drivers may work better than generic drivers delivered through Windows Update. Restart the laptop after installation, then test Hibernate again.
Let me know how it goes!
