Welcome to Microsoft Q&A
Hello @Надія Лисенко I hope you are doing well,
The message:
"You're not eligible for an Azure free account"
Does not necessarily mean you are not a student. Azure for Students eligibility is determined through Microsoft's verification process, which considers factors such as your academic institution, email domain, and previous use of Azure student offers.
A few common reasons for this message are:
- The university email domain is not recognized by the academic verification system.
- The Microsoft account has previously redeemed an Azure student offer.
- The verification process could not confirm student status automatically.
- There is an issue with the account or eligibility validation process.
Since you are using an academic email address (khmnu.edu.ua) and are an enrolled student, I recommend:
- Verify that you are signing up using your university email account.
- Ensure that your Microsoft account profile information is accurate and up to date.
- Contact Azure Subscription/Billing Support and request a review of your Azure for Students eligibility.
- Be prepared to provide proof of enrollment (student ID card or enrollment certificate) if requested.
You can find more information here:

- Azure Free Account FAQ: https://azure.microsoft.com/free/free-account-faq/
Unfortunately, the exact reason for the rejection is not exposed to customers, so only Microsoft's account verification team can determine why the eligibility check failed.
