Hi @NB
Good news: this doesn't look like anything was spent. Notice that both numbers changed together. It went from "€100 of €100" to "€88 of €88", so the total changed, not the remaining part. If you had used €12, it would show something like "€88 of €100".
The most likely reason is currency conversion. Azure for Students gives a credit of $100 (US dollars). The portal shows it in your billing currency, so the euro figure depends on the exchange rate applied and can move up or down even when nothing is used. Downloading a Windows Server ISO to your own computer doesn't use Azure credit at all.
To double-check:
- Sign in to the Azure Sponsorships portal (microsoftazuresponsorships.com) with your student account. It shows the credit balance and usage.
- In the Azure portal, open Cost Management > Cost analysis for the subscription and confirm the cost is still €0.00 for every month since you signed up.
- If either one shows usage you don't recognise, open a free Billing support request from Help + support.
Does the Sponsorships portal show any usage at all, or a full $100 balance?
