    Dear Chang,

Thank you for the follow up. I understand the firewall restriction makes this harder.

Teams has a shortcut for joining the meeting that's currently selected. On Windows it's usually Ctrl+J. You can confirm the exact shortcut on your device by pressing Ctrl + Period (.), which opens the keyboard shortcut list. Please note that this shortcut joins a meeting you've already selected, so it may not work if you can't open the meeting from Calendar. You may still be able to select it from the meeting chat and try the shortcut there. There is also a shortcut to join from a meeting notification/toast: Ctrl+Shift+J.

If that doesn't work for you, the method I shared earlier is currently the only other option I'm aware of. Since Calendar is blocked for firewall reasons, it may also help to check with your IT administrator in case they can allow the access you need.

I hope this helps, and feel free to let me know how it goes.

    Dear Chang,

Teams has a similar option for joining a meeting directly with a meeting ID. If you have the meeting ID and passcode, which are in the meeting invitation:

    1. In Teams, go to Calendar.
    2. Select Join with an ID.
    3. Enter the meeting ID and passcode, then select Join meeting.

    User's image

If you have the meeting link, open it in your browser and choose to join in the browser or the Teams app. You can enter your name and join as a guest without signing in to an account, depending on the organizer's meeting settings.

If you're looking for something different, please let me know and I'll be happy to help.
