Hello Microsoft Azure Support Team,

I am the administrator of a business Azure subscription hosting our company's software platform.

Our Azure billing account has been restricted following a suspicious-activity warning.

Unfortunately, the Azure portal will not allow us to select a payment method or complete payment.

I have attempted multiple times to create an Azure Billing support ticket, but the support process repeatedly redirects me to a Solutions page or back to the Azure portal without allowing me to submit a request.

I have also contacted Microsoft's telephone support and AI assistant, but neither has provided a way to reach a representative who can assist.

I am requesting assistance from a Microsoft moderator or Azure support representative to:

Help me establish a private support case with Azure Billing and Account Security.

Review the account restriction and explain what is required to resolve it.

Provide a secure way to pay the outstanding balance.

Help prevent an interruption to our business services while this is being investigated.

Because this is a public forum, I have intentionally omitted our subscription ID, billing account details, and other sensitive information.

Could a Microsoft moderator please advise how to escalate this issue privately when the Azure support portal will not allow a ticket to be submitted?

Open a free billing ticket: Azure portal → Help + support → Create a support request → choose Billing or Subscription management. Billing tickets don’t need a paid support plan.

If the portal loops: use an InPrivate/incognito window, and sign in as the billing account owner.

Other routes: aka.ms/azsupt, the phone numbers at azure.microsoft.com/support/contact, or @AzureSupport on X. If you bought through a reseller, contact them.

Protect your data now: back up critical data and configs.

Beware of scams: ignore anyone who replies privately offering help or payment links. Pay only through the Azure portal.

For a blocked or restricted Azure billing account, the supported path is to contact Azure support. If the subscription was bought directly from Microsoft, use Microsoft support. If it is a Partner or Enterprise customer, contact the partner or account manager.

Because the portal is looping back to solutions, use this support-request flow in Azure portal:

    1. Open Azure portal and go to Help + Support.
    2. Select Create a support request.
    3. Enter Billing in the support pane and select Billing.
    4. Select the affected subscription and continue.
    5. When suggested solutions appear, select Create a support request at the top instead of opening the suggested articles or refund options.
    6. Complete Summary, Problem type, and Problem subtype, then select Next.
    7. If solutions appear again, select Return to support request.
    8. Continue to Additional details, provide the required information, review, and submit.

Expected result: an automated email should arrive after submission, and billing support can then review the restriction and payment issue.

Important service-impact note: if a past-due balance is not resolved, services can be canceled, resources can become unavailable, and data can be deleted after the documented retention period. For blocked billing accounts, termination can become irreversible if no action is taken within the notification period.

If the account uses a Microsoft account and the issue is for an Enterprise Agreement support request, an organizational account with the EA administrator or Partner administrator role is required to create the Azure support ticket.

If payment was already processed but the subscription is still disabled, contact Azure support through the support-request channel.

If the restriction is related to suspicious activity and there is concern that payment information was compromised, contact the bank or payment provider immediately to prevent additional charges.
