Log into your Microsoft account on this link, is the subscription indicated as cancelled there, and if recurring billing is enabled on the subscription, disable that.

    https://account.microsoft.com/services/

If you pay for the Microsoft 365 subscription through the Apple Apps Store, then you need to contact Apple Support to cancel the subscription and any pending subscription payment.

If the Microsoft 365 purchase appears in your Apple subscriptions or purchase history, only Apple can clear the pending transaction; Microsoft cannot cancel or refund an Apple-billed charge.[^1^](https://support.microsoft.com/accounts-billing/subscriptions/[Subscription ID] "Cancel a Microsoft 365 subscription | Microsoft Support")

    For an Apple-billed transaction

    1. On the iPhone, open Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions and select Microsoft 365.
    2. If it says Expires 20 September 2027, the subscription is already cancelled for future renewal. The displayed date is the end of access, not the date on which the pending transaction will automatically be cancelled. Apple explains how to confirm cancellation status here.^2^
    3. Check Settings → [your name] → Media & Purchases → View Account → Purchase History to identify the annual Microsoft 365 transaction.
    4. While the charge remains Pending, Apple does not allow a refund request. Wait for an Apple receipt or for the transaction status to change, then use reportaproblem.apple.com, choose Request a refund, and select the Microsoft 365 purchase.^3^
    5. Because the pending or unpaid transaction is blocking other Apple purchases and you cannot pay it, contact Apple Support now and ask for Media Services/App Store billing support. Explain that:
      • Microsoft 365 has already been cancelled.
      • The annual charge is still pending.
      • You intended to purchase the monthly plan.
      • The pending transaction is preventing other App Store purchases.

Cancelling the subscription stops future renewal; it does not itself reverse the current transaction. If Apple later accepts a refund request, its progress can be checked through Check Status of Claims.^4^

If the purchase was billed directly by Microsoft instead

Check the billing owner at account.microsoft.com/services using the Microsoft account used for the purchase:

For a Microsoft-billed purchase, open the subscription and choose Manage → Cancel. The cancellation flow automatically indicates whether the transaction qualifies for a refund; not every cancellation does.[^6^](https://support.microsoft.com/accounts-billing/subscriptions/[Subscription ID] "Microsoft 365")

Do not post an order number, card details, Apple ID, or Microsoft account information in this public forum.
