I requested an e-book of "Azure for Architects" from below page.

https://info.microsoft.com/ww-landing-azure-for-architects.html

I also received an email from Microsoft Azure Team ******@email.microsoft.com with download link.

But when I clicked the download link, I could only get the error message on web page.

{
  "type": "https://aem.api.adobe.io/problems/not_found",
  "title": "Not Found",
  "status": 404,
  "detail": "Item doesn't exist"
}

I want to know,

  1. How to get proper e-book
  2. If e-book is permanantly broken, how to remove my submitted personal information

    Hi @dskim

    That 404 is coming from the file host behind the email link, so it's a problem on the content side, not anything you did. Nobody here can fix the asset itself, but here's how to handle both parts of your question.

    Getting the e-book

    1. Open the landing page again in a private browser window and submit the form once more. These download links are sometimes generated per request and can expire.
    2. If the new link gives the same 404, the file has most likely been retired or moved.
    3. In the meantime, the Azure Architecture Center covers the same ground (reference architectures, design patterns, the Well-Architected Framework) for free, and it's kept up to date, unlike a fixed e-book.

    Removing your information

    1. To stop the marketing emails, use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email you received.
    2. To ask Microsoft to delete the data you submitted, go to the Microsoft privacy statement, open the privacy support and requests page linked there, and choose to contact the Microsoft privacy team. They respond within 30 days.

    Please don't post your email address or other personal details in this thread.

    Did the second request send you a new link, or the same one as before?

    If this resolved your issue, please consider accepting it as the answer. If the new link also fails, let me know and I'll be happy to keep helping.
