Welcome Maria Tan,
Thanks for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A Forum. I understand Dell Support advised that the issue appears to be related to Windows rather than the Dell hardware.
Please try the steps below to troubleshoot the issue:
1, Install available Windows updates.
- Go to Settings > Windows Update
- Select Check for updates and install any available updates
- Restart the computer afterward
2, Check for corrupted Windows system files.
- Open Terminal or Command Prompt as administrator
- Run
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth - When it finishes, run
sfc /scannow - Restart the computer after the scan completes
Note: Could you please answer the question from the previous response? This will help me better understand the issue and provide you with the most appropriate assistance.
Looking forward to your update.
