I don’t have access to my Microsoft Authenticator

I started studying in France this year and I used my old iPhone to get into my school mail. I also installed the Authenticator to that telephone. Yesterday I had an accident and my old phone broke in that accident. Right now I am trying to get in to my my mail with another telephone and I can’t because the only to options is to type the code or click to the correct code in the Authenticator in which I don’t have access. I hope the support team can help and I can do whatever it takes to validate my identity. Thanks in advance.

    Dear @bora çallı,

I'm sorry to hear about your accident and the loss of access to your phone.

If you're using a school account, please note that MFA settings are typically managed by your organization's IT administrator. In this case, I recommend contacting your admin to verify your MFA configuration or reset your authentication methods.

Your administrator can follow the guidance in the following article: Manage authentication methods for Microsoft Entra multi-factor authentication

If you’re unsure who your administrator is, this article may help: How do I find my Microsoft 365 admin?

The good news is that this is a common scenario for school and work accounts, and administrators generally have procedures for assisting users who lose access to their Authenticator device.

I hope you're able to regain access quickly.

    Warm regards,
